Photographic collection of a Costa del Sol artist offers a world full of experiences

Cecilia Castillo is currently showing her exhibition of fine art photography Miradas del Alma at the Hapimag Resort, Marbella. The exhibition, which was opened on Thursday, includes 15 photographs taken by Cecilia Castillo on her trips to India, Africa and within her own family.

The artist stated that each photo “invites you into an universe of emotions, experiences and stories that reflect both my sensitivity and my personal journey”.

She describes her works as portraits which condense the multiple dimensions of human experience in order to transcend the moment, and transform the ephemeral.

Castillo trained as a psychology and worked in Argentina for over 30 years. After retiring, she finally found the time for photography. It’s something she feels has always been part of her life.

She has been a professional photographer in Marbella for the past ten years.
