Paella party for Afesol

Paella Party for Afesol

Sue Dare, Michelle Yanez Bowker, Ashleigh Mccartney, and Ruth Stevenson organized a fun, energetic, and successful fundraising event for Afesol on May 1 at Finca Bella Vista, a local mental health charity since 1999.

Afesol’s day centres are located in Estepona Benalmadena and San Pedro. They help individuals and families with mental illness improve their quality of living.

The event, a lively paella party under glorious sunshine, drew 77 kind-hearted guests – a significant jump from last year’s afternoon tea. Guests enjoyed dancing, mingling, and delicious paella provided by Sana Cafetería Marbella, who sponsored the event. The beautiful sea view and warm temperatures helped to create a festive atmosphere. Entry was by donation, with food and drinks included, raising over €1,000 to support Afesol’s vital work.
