FC Barcelona winger Pablo Torre is officially transferring to RCD Mallorca in a €5 million transfer. Torre will become the third FC Barcelona player this summer to leave the first team. The 22-year old Torre was with the Barcelona team for 3 years. In addition to the €5 million euros from the transfer, Barcelona will also receive 50 per cent of any future gain from a resale of Torre.
In 2022, Torre joined Barcelona in another €5 million deal. Torre, who arrived at Barcelona with high expectations, played relatively few minutes. He eventually moved to FC Girona as part of a loan agreement in order to get more playing time. Torre became a regular sub for Hansi Flick’s football team, which ultimately led to his departure.
Jagoba, the former Spanish footballer who is now manager of LaLiga Club Mallorca in professional football association, has had his eye on Torre since a long time. Torre wanted to stay in LaLiga and join the Balearics. Torre joins RCD Mallorca in time for 2025-26’s preseason. He will begin training this week with his teammates.
Barcelona seems to believe in Torre, however, as they have secured a buyback option. The amount has not yet been specified. This new change will make 2025-26 a very exciting season for RCD Mallorca.
