Ryanair has announced the winter schedule of 2025/2026 at Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport. It features 83 routes and nine new international destinations.
The new routes connect Malaga with Pardubice (Czech Republic), Ostrava and Brno, Bratislava and Munster in Germany, Stockholm Vasteras in Sweden, Teesside, England, and Warsaw, Poland.
Six flights per week will be offered to Warsaw; four to Bratislava; and two each to Brno and Lubeck. Ryanair is also increasing the number of flights to established routes like Copenhagen, Dublin Fez and Milan. This will provide Malaga with a much wider selection for connectivity throughout Europe.
The airline predicts a 7 per cent capacity increase in Malaga this winter, as it offers more travel options for getaways with fares starting as low as €24.99 for travel until March 2026. The airline will support the schedule with 15 Malaga aircraft. This represents an investment of $1.5 billion and supports over 6,800 jobs in the locality.
Ryanair, however, criticised AENA’s 6.62 percent increase of airport fees. This forced the airline, across its Spanish operations, to cut 1 million seats in this winter. These fees, along with the lack of incentive plans, have made some regional airports inoperable, according to Ryanair. This is despite its efforts to boost employment and tourism through competitive fares.
