Women in business connect through new co-working series on the Costa del Sol

New co-working series in Costa del Sol connects women entrepreneurs

From 3 July, and every Wednesday throughout the month, women entrepreneurs, freelancers, and professionals are invited to come together between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm to work on their business goals, network with others, and create content — including video and branded photography — in a vibrant, purpose-built setting.

Whether you’re developing a new service, fine-tuning a strategy, or simply seeking a productive environment alongside other business-minded women, these sessions are designed to offer real value — with time, tools, and like-minded company.

Why co-working has risen in popularity

The growth of co-working is changing the way and place people conduct business. Once seen as a niche option for tech start-ups, co-working spaces are now a go-to choice for freelancers, remote workers and entrepreneurs — especially women looking for flexibility without sacrificing focus.

In Spain and especially along the Costa del Sol the demand for professional but social work environments is steadily growing. The co-working model offers an office, the energy and creativity of a creative hub as well as the freedom to work according to your own schedule. This combination is also attractive to women who are balancing work, family and lifestyle goals.

A professional space with community ethos

The initiative, which is organized in partnership with the Mijas Town Council, builds on Costa Women’s commitment to empower women through collaboration and connection.

Costa Women is now entering its 14th season as a trusted community among women with an international outlook who live in Spain. Its events, workshops, and resources support both new arrivals and long-term residents in building sustainable businesses — and meaningful networks.

The Co-Working Wednesdays are a reflection of that mission. These sessions offer a mix of productivity and flexibility. They are open to women who want to focus on their business, gain new energy and share ideas with others.

Sharing space for success

Many women in business on the Costa del Sol find working alone isolating and limiting. These co-working sessions offer more than a desk and Wi-Fi — they create an environment where ideas flow, collaboration happens naturally, and progress feels possible.

Ali Meehan is the founder and CEO of Costa Women.

I believe that every woman entrepreneur deserves a space to grow — not just her business, but her confidence.”

This new series represents that philosophy. Co-Working Wednesdays offers not only practical benefits but also a strong sense of belonging by creating a space where women can focus, connect and reflect.
