Siri can be your parking pal for iPhone users
For those in the Apple ecosystem, your iPhone can automatically remember where you’ve parked—provided it’s connected to your car via Bluetooth or CarPlay. Maps will display a marker for your parked vehicle once you exit and disconnect the car. For this feature to work, you must have the following settings enabled:
- Location Services: Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services
- Significant Locations: Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > System Services > Significant Locations
- Showing Parked Location: Settings > Maps > Show Parked Location
Siri can be used to manually store your parking location if your car does not have Bluetooth or CarPlay. Simply tell Siri “Remember where my car was parked.” Ask Siri “Where did you park?” Later. Siri will direct you back.

Android Auto users will find the process even easier. Android Auto prompts the “Save Parking”, toggle, when you arrive at your destination. With a simple tap, you can save your location and find it later.
