Many of the travel guides are offering the exact same places, routes, and restaurants. My Little World of Travelling Cristina Reina is the creator of the website, which stands out for its highly personalized approach. Cristina shares on her website a variety of guides to help visitors discover the real Malaga and Costa del Sol. Cristina’s project is targeted at British tourists. Cristina knows their tastes and needs, and offers them an intelligent and useful tool for exploring the essence of Andalusian Region.

My Little World of Travelling Cristina Reina, a writer and traveler by passion, created the book. She says, “I have always enjoyed travelling and discovering new places whether they are in my hometown Malaga or elsewhere.” “At the beginning, the blog featured guides to all the places that I had visited around the globe. After the pandemic, and after my time abroad, I felt the desire and curiosity to explore places I had visited as a kid and other places that I knew existed and never showed interest in when younger,” she recalls.

“That’s when I started writing about Andalucía, focusing more on the province of Malaga because I realised how passionate I was about my city and the surrounding area. “My mission has been to share the best of Malaga with other travellers around the world ever since,” she says.

My Little World of Travelling is not just a guide to the well-known spots along the Costa del Sol. It also sheds light on villages less known that have something unique to offer. This could be a special dish, an event, or a landmark to visit. Cristina says that she loves helping people to discover Malaga, not just for beach-lovers, but for anyone interested in museums, villages with whitewashed walls, food, etc. Cristina’s approach is in keeping with the new regional tourism strategy which aims to diversify visitors to Malaga.

“My goal to share tips, interesting facts and help travellers to go beyond the obvious in order to truly get to know a culture. She says that she wants them to experience the world like a local, and in a responsible fashion.

Guides based upon personal experience

As mentioned earlier, there are plenty of guides in Spanish and other languages about the Costa del Sol and Andalucía. My Little World of Travelling is unique because it’s based on Cristina’s own experience. She was born and raised in Malaga, where she spent her entire childhood and adolescence. She moved to Leeds after completing a master’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality at Leeds University. She has now brought her knowledge and experience to this corner of the Internet.

My Little World of Travelling was designed from the beginning to appeal to English-speaking tourists, particularly those who are fans of the Costa del Sol. “I have lived in the UK for many years and I still visit because of my partner. “That experience helps me to understand their culture and the things they are looking for when they visit Malaga,” she says about her focus on this particular audience.

Custom itineraries for discovering Andalucía in an authentic way

Alongside free blog content including food, accommodation tips and other helpful resources, Cristina Reina also offers a personalised itinerary service for travellers who want to explore Andalucía in a more authentic way. She explains that the process begins with a video chat, during which she gets to know each traveller and their style. On the basis of this information, she creates an itinerary that is fully customized to suit their needs.

It is an excellent tool for anyone who wants to continue discovering the most authentic part of Malaga.
