Mojácar will continue to be part of the Andalucian Network of Public Theatres 2025This initiative is run by the Andalucian Institute of Performing Arts and Music and managed by the Andalucian Agency of Cultural Institutions of the Regional Culture and Sport Ministry. This renewal reinforces the commitment of the municipality to promote theatre and performing arts by bringing high-quality shows to its residents and visitors.
The Mayor of Mojácar, Francisco García Cerdá, accompanied by the Culture Councillor Noemí Linares, attended the distinction presentation ceremony in Almería, where he highlighted the importance of this programme for the municipality: “Forming part of the Andalucian Network of Public Theatres allows us to continue promoting culture in Mojácar, offering a diverse and quality programme that enriches the cultural life of our village. We are committed to theatre and the performing arts as a fundamental pillar for the cultural and tourist development of Mojácar,“, the mayor declared.
Mojácar Strengthens Cultural Commitment with Renewal in Andalucian Theatre Network
Mojácar received an identification plaque that accredits it as a member of the Andalucian Network of Public Theatres in 2025. The Mayor, Francisco García, was assigned with receiving this recognition, which will allow the municipality to access a wide catalogue of top-level performing arts.
This programme will be promoted by the Andalucian Institute of Performing Arts and Music, as it is a vital base for the access to performing arts in the entire autonomous community.
The Culture Councillor, Noemí Linares, underlined the importance of this network: This programme will allow us to continue to bring quality theatre and performing art to our residents. It has been well received in previous editions.
