Mojacar Community Library is a local library that has served the community since 1981.

This library, run entirely by volunteers, is a great place for booklovers, especially those who are looking for English-language literature.

The library Over 15,000 books are available in different genres. Members are constantly receiving new titles including newly published paperbacks to keep their reading materials fresh.

The library, located in the Centro de Usos Multiples, is on the lower ground floor, right next to Third Age. Both long-term residents as well as visitors can easily access the library to borrow or read books.

A membership costs only 12 Euros per household, per annum. The membership fee goes directly towards maintaining and expanding the collection. The library has a simple system of borrowing books, which makes it easy for its members to borrow and return the books at their convenience.

The opening hours are from Monday to Friday, 11 am to 1 pm. Visitors can browse the collection during these hours, join the community, or just enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

It is important that the library continues to grow, so new members are always welcomed. Volunteers can also join the library to assist in the running of the day-today operations or help out in other ways. Those interested in volunteering can enquire during opening hours.
