Missing: Concerns grow over British tourist, aged 79, who vanished while on holiday in Spain’s Costa del Sol

The safety of a British holidaymaker who has been missing for four days on the Costa del Sol is causing concern.

Iain Stanley is being sought by officers from the Guardia Civil. He was last seen around 2pm, on the 11th of February, near the Perla Marina Hotel in Nerja. Nerja is a popular tourist destination located approximately 50km to the east of Malaga.

His wife reported him missing a day after he vanished from a holiday home nearby.

It is believed that he’s in good health. He was last seen wearing black jeans and a blue jacket.

According to his wife he left his holiday home without his passport or his mobile phone.

Nerja receives hundreds of thousands of tourists every year and is home to almost 8,000 foreigners – equivalent to one third of the town’s population.
