Talent and progress are on full display during this colourful season
Families and fans cheered from the stands as gymnasts of all categories performed their routines. This was a great opportunity for loved ones to watch how each athlete has grown over the last year. From the youngest girls in their little tutus representing Mijas, La Cala de Mijas, and Las Cañadas, to the competitive and pre-competitive gymnasts, wowing with their creativity and talent, every routine was met with enthusiastic appreciation from a packed (very hot) venue. All participants received gifts and diplomas, and the organisers were also recognized for their contribution to the competition.

Carla, Tania and their heartfelt goodbyes
Carla Zaragoza’s and Tania Sánchez’s formal send-offs, when they both decided to retire from competition, were moving moments. The one was leaving for university, while the other had personal reasons. The video, which was produced especially, traced the girls’ journeys, from their young beginnings in rhythmic gymnastics, to their accomplishments as club members. It brought tears to teammates, coaches and their families.
