Mijas Golf has a huge wildfire spreading quickly.
Although nothing has been confirmed, it appears that the fire may have been caused by a nearby house fire. After weeks of hot, arid weather, and rains that led to an explosion of growth in the area’s surroundings, there is a lot of dry scrubland.
Due to the mountainous terrain of the area, INFOCA cannot fly in the darkness. Ground fire services will have to do their best to put out the fire.
The inferno will spread across the hills of dry grass surrounding the golf resort due to strong winds. The adjacent fields have a large amount of land that’s been left unattended for many years.
Nine groups of forestal and fire engine firefighters are on scene to try to put out the fire.
