Melia Collection, a luxury hotel brand, is set to make waves in Costa del Sol after launching its first hotel.

Melia Hotels International announced plans to open a new hotel. Bahia Estepona is a member of the Melia CollectionAfter a major renovation, the hotel will join the luxury portfolio of global hospitality giant by mid-2026. The hotel, which has undergone extensive renovations, will be added to the portfolio of luxury hotels by the global hospitality company.

The five-star hotel will have 134 suites and rooms, providing guests with a stylish seaside retreat. Overlooking the El Padrón beach, the hotel’s outdoor spaces will be a focal point of the guest experience, featuring an impressive swimming pool and beautifully landscaped gardens perfect for relaxation.

Bahia Estepona puts wellness on the map with its state-ofthe-art gym and lavish spa, which offers top-tier treatments.

The hotel’s three restaurants are world-class, as is the chic lobby bar.

A curated cultural program will be offered at the hotel to enhance guests’ experience and help them connect with local heritage. And with Puerto Banus just a 20-minute drive away, Marbella’s historic centre 30 minutes away, and top spots like Mijas and Málaga within easy reach, the hotel is ideally placed for those looking to explore the region.
