Martina Renate, her dog Ellie, and their belongings have been located in another province.
Martina, a 61-year old German housekeeper, was found on Sunday, 23 March, far from her Marbella home.
The police investigated the disappearance of Martina who disappeared after she left the home of a woman that she helped regularly on Friday, 14th March. Martina, a resident of the Elviria area of Marbella, left her home that day with her small dog, Ellie, a small, long-haired Dachshund mix with a terrier, and drove off in her car, apparently to ‘run some errands.’ Her phone was disconnected around 3pm. She hasn’t made an appearance since.
Nathalie Fantuzzi raised the alarm first through social media and then the police. Within two days her phone was ringing with information requests from media and press around the globe.
Today, though, thankfully, the police have informed Martina‘s flatmate that she is safe and well, as is Ellie the dog. On CCTV, the police had seen her at various times with Ellie. The police did not disclose her location, but assured her flatmate that she was alive and well, and just not on the Costa del Sol.
