The Mercado Central of Marbella will be the place to be for foodies and music lovers this Friday 30th May. From 1pm to 7pm, nine local food stalls will take part in a special event offering a caña and tapa for just €3. The event is called ‘Caña más tapa’ and is part of a local plan to promote the market and bring people together over good food and live music.

A cold beer is included with a freshly made tapa at one of the best food stands in the market. Each will have a daily special. You can try flavours from Mediodia, El Pescadero, Bar Fiesta, El Nene, Taberna Casa Rivas, Origen, El Puesto 85, Katando and Tasca de Vitto. You can expect fresh ingredients, homemade cooking and an incredible price.

Two local bands will perform live to make the afternoon more enjoyable: Rebellion and Los Calvin. The atmosphere will be friendly and welcoming with both locals as well as tourists having a relaxing afternoon.

This event is part a larger effort by the town hall of Marbella to support local businesses and boost their food scene. It’s a great reason to visit the market with friends and discover something new. It doesn’t matter if you are a regular market-goer or this is your first visit, it is still a fun and inexpensive way to experience Marbella.
