Marbella’s 15th Global Gift Gala was a huge success, with a mix of glamour, style and giving.

The 2026 Global Gift Gala will bring together celebrities, fashion, elegance, and fine dining at Lucia Marbella, located in the Don Carlos Resort, to raise funds and awareness for families and children who are most in need.

Red carpet for international guests

The evening began with a red carpet (or blue in fact) that delivered more than enough summer glamour. Guests displayed the latest in style, fashion, jewellery, and tailoring. The annual gala, hosted by Eva Longoria and Global Gift Foundation’s founder Maria Bravo brought together over 300 guests to one of summer’s largest charity events.

Shilpa shetty and Nick Ede were among the celebrities who joined business leaders to support this cause. Carlos Rivera, a Mexican singer and songwriter, was awarded the Global Gift Humanitarian Award in recognition of his generosity and commitment to social causes.

Stunning setting, fine food, live music

After enjoying a welcome drink in the sun at the Lucia Restaurant on the grounds of Don Carlos Resort, guests were treated to an exclusive dinner by the Casanis Group’s culinary team. This is the same group that created the Nota Blu New Brasserie, and Mamzel, located in Finca Besaya. The annual event is sponsored by the CEO of Casanis Group, Zazou Belounis. He is the honorary chair of the group.

The evening was rounded out with live entertainment as well as a fun and fast-paced charity event featuring unique luxury experiences and items. The organizers offered tickets to the public for the first time, allowing local supporters to take part, enjoy the entertainment and directly contribute to the cause.

Yes, glamour is important. But it must be a glamorous one.

The Global Gift Gala managed to focus on the important things. It is easy to let events like these become all about the glitz. It was evident that the entire room felt the need to raise money and awareness for vulnerable families. The money raised will be used to expand programs at Casa Angeles, and each euro from the late-night celebrations will help children who depend on them throughout the year.
