Marbella will host a vibrant celebration of LGTBI pride day on June 27, at Glorieta de la Fontanilla. Residents and visitors are invited to come together to celebrate diversity and freedom for all.
The evening, which begins at 7pm, will be filled with performances, activities and moments of heartfelt recognition.
To engage the audience, there will be a variety of activities geared towards youth, such as makeup workshops, a “Diversity Quiz” and an information table. At 8pm, local journalist Roberto Caballero Martín, a prominent advocate for equality and LGTBI rights from Radio Televisión Marbella, will deliver the event’s keynote speech.
The evening will also feature special awards presented to Hard Rock Hotel Marbella, Café Baqué, Import Montes, and local artist José David González, known as DashStar, for their contributions to inclusivity.
An amazing lineup of performers will take the stage, headlined by Huelva-born singer María Isabel, who won Eurovisión Junior 2004 at age nine with her hit “Antes muerta que sencilla”. Other acts include Xenon Spain, an Andalusian actress and singer known for her bold performances and advocacy; Mr Proper, a pop-rock cover band; and Venedita Von Däsh, one of Spain’s most influential drag artists.
The night will also feature DJ Pepino Marino mixing pop, electronic, and nostalgic ‘90s sounds with local dance academy Muévete, led by Rocío Guerrero and David Benítez, and Costa del Sol drag queen Katrina.
The event will have a friendly atmosphere, a bar for guests to relax in, and a space that is open to all. Organisers aim to create a lively celebration of visibility, joy and respect.
