Save the date, shoppers! Rastrillo Benefico, Marbella’s most loved event is returning to Parque de La Alameda this Sunday April 6 from 10 AM until 8 PM. It’s more than just a chance to score a bargain. This isn’t your typical car boot sale – it’s a lifeline for those battling addiction and emotional hardship.
The event is organized by Horizonte Proyecto Marbella and takes place every second month on the first sunday of an even-numbered month. It’s not just a good deal for bargain hunters; it’s also a way to raise money that will help the group continue its work in the local community.
What is on offer? Everything is on offer. You’ll find clothes and shoes of all ages as well as books in many languages, homewares, handbags and belts, toys and costume jewellery. Donated by generous locals, the mix includes new and almost new items.
If all the shopping has left you hungry, there’s a solution. Arama, a local association will provide you with a free meal. Serve up Tapas, soft drinks and delicious bites give the day an authentic festive feel at one of Marbella’s most iconic parks.
But this is not just an enjoyable day out. Horizonte Proyecto Hombre uses every euro it raises to fund vital programs, such as:
