Man arrested after failing to assist friend who drowned when he fell into the Valencia river

A CHINESE 19-year-old man was arrested for failing to help his friend drown in the river of Valencia.

Wen Tao Chi, a 20-year old male also Chinese, fell into the Turia River at Manises in the early hours of Sunday.

Before the accident, both men had been drinking beer in a park near their home.
