Businesses that rely on holidaymakers should also prepare for the biggest holiday season ever.
Recently, there has been an explosion of new arrival options. EasyJet reopened their seasonal base at Malaga Airport, for the 5th consecutive year. This increased its summer capacity to 11 per cent, compared with 2024. Over 2.1 million seats are available between March and October. This month, the low-cost carrier will connect Malaga with five new destinations, including Leeds Bradford, Newcastle and Marrakech. Its total now stands at 23 routes.
Adding to the momentum, Ryanair has launched its summer 2025 programme, introducing new routes from Málaga to Lübeck and Münster (Germany), Teesside (UK), and Warsaw (Poland), with a flight to Brno (Czech Republic) about to arrive.
Ryanair is offering more affordable summer vacation options by operating 90 routes. EasyJet has increased its Spanish base capacity by 7 per cent, thanks to these expansions. Malaga, with the help of both airlines, is poised to welcome unprecedented numbers of tourists this summer and cement its position as Europe’s top destination.
