A nightclub in Costa del Sol had to be evacuated on Saturday night.
At 4am, revellers began coughing, experiencing itchy throats, and having shortness of breathe in Sala Leblon – a popular Malaga nightclub.
Police Local and two ambulances arrived on the scene quickly. It did not take police long to identify those responsible.
A woman allegedly used pepper spray to cause the disturbance inside the club.

The alleged suspects were a couple from South America. They had an argument.
Both were in the upper floors of the restaurant when they argued. She sprayed pepper spray on her boyfriend, apparently because she was jealous.
According to reports, she emptied out the entire can and spread the substance across the dance floor where people began experiencing breathing problems.

The woman’s minor infraction was reported. Her boyfriend, who was also carrying a prohibited sharp object in the club, was reported.
Sources from the club have confirmed that the club will bring legal action against this couple.
