The Psychedelic Furs, an English rock band, will perform at Sala Trinchera in Malaga, Spain, on 18th November. This is part of their current tour which also includes dates in the UK, Europe, and the USA. The 1977-formed band is known for its fusion of new wave and post-punk rock, led by Richard Butler’s raspy, intoxicating vocals.

The band emerged from the London music scene in the late 1970s with hits like Sister Europe. In the early 80s, they shifted to a more melodic synth-pop style with albums such as Talk Talk Talk. Pretty in Pink was re-released in 1982, after it had failed to achieve commercial success. This brought the band its biggest commercial success. In 1986, this track was used as the soundtrack to an American teen film with the same name. This brought the band into the spotlight of a brand new generation.

Richard Butler and Tim Butler are original members of the band. They have toured all over the globe, except for an eight-year break (1992-2000). Spain is no stranger to the group, as they have performed many sold-out concerts in the country during the past few decades.

Tickets for the concert, which begins at 9pm in Malaga, are priced at 38.50, and can be ordered from www.enterticket.es
