Andalucian authorities confirmed that the last victim of the Adamuz tragedy, who is still in hospital and has injuries from the accident, gave birth to a healthy child.
Raquel Garcia was 5 months pregnant in January when two high speed trains crashed in Spain, the deadliest rail accident in Spain since 80 people were killed at Santiago de Compostela last year.

After the rear carriages of a Madrid bound Iryo train carrying more than 300 passengers flipped on to an adjacent track and collided into an oncoming Huelva-bound train, 46 people died and hundreds were hurt.
Garcia was sitting in the seventh carriage with her partner Ivan, her sister Ana, and their pet dog Boro. All three were missing following the crash.
The 32 year old tried to protect the dog but sustained a severe head and vertebral fracture.

She was transported to the Regional University Hospital of Malaga in a critical but stable condition.
According to the Andalucian regional government’s health service, the baby is ‘doing well’ after Garcia gave birth on Saturday.
