How to watch Malaga FC v Leicester City tonight as venue switches to Puerto Banus

Malaga FC and Leicester City will be playing tonight at Puerto Banus

Malaga FC’s 2026/27 season pre-season begins today, Saturday July 25, but it is not at the original ground advertised.

Why Algeciras was changed as the venue

The first time the friendly was scheduled, it was for Algeciras’ Estadio Nuevo Mirador. Malaga FC announced a change of venue just 24 hours before the game. The match will now be played at Banus Football Centre, also known as “La Dama de Noche”, the home ground of Marbella FC. The club claims the switch was made due to circumstances beyond either team’s control. Kick-off will remain at the same time.

Online purchases for Algeciras are automatically refunded. Those who purchased in person can claim their refund starting Monday, July 27. Remember that your old Algeciras tickets will not get you into Banus. You’ll need to buy a new ticket.

Tickets and information for the match tonight

The first test of the pre-season for Malaga is their promotion to Primera Division. Leicester, Premier League Champions a decade earlier, are now in League One following a relegation. Fans will see their first glimpses of the three new signings Calero Juan Cruz Dotor. Dotor was already on loan last season.
