Bus timetables will be changing as the M-110 bus route, connecting Malaga with Torremolinos, is re-routed. Beginning May 1, the M-110, which connects Malaga, Torremolinos & Benalmadena Costa, will switch over to its summer schedule.
This is due to an increase in the demand for public transport during the busy summer months along the Costa del Sol. The new schedule will enhance one of the most popular routes in the region.
From Monday to Saturday, the line will offer full round-trip trips, which is 14 more than the winter timetable. The number of departures on Saturdays will increase from 52 to 60, and Sundays will have 57, an increase from 52. This will improve frequency during the peak hours.
M-110 operating hours are expanding to accommodate more trips. Buses will operate from Malaga to Torrenueva between 6am and 3am on Mondays to Saturdays. Services will be available on Sundays and public holidays from 5.05am until 2am in Malaga, and from 6.05am till 3am in Torrenueva.
The aim of the changes is to ensure that residents and tourists can travel seamlessly, in order to meet the increasing transport demands during the summer on the Costa del Sol.
