Lionel Messi is the Argentinean footballer who currently plays for Inter Miami, in the US. He has a goal assist advantage over Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi’s 875 goals against Ronaldo’s 938 is decreasing the gap between the two, but another statistic shows that the former Barcelona striker will soon make history. Goal assistance requires a high level of creativity and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. It also requires vision and strategic abilities. The now US Major League Soccer superstar is only a few passes away from achieving a historic landmark: 400 assists.

The Hungarian footballer Ferenc Puskas is also 79 today. He was the first to set the record for the most beautiful goal in the calendar year. FIFA awards the Puskas trophy every year. BolaVIP says that Messi’s 389 career assists will make it easy for him to break the world record. This is because he works with his team to score goals in every match. Ronaldo has only 257 assists in his career. He can pass, but his focus is on finishing.
