La Sala, the Marbella hospitality giant, celebrates 15 years of success in style 

It’s become a household word in southern Spain amongst expats, celebrities and tourists alike.

Now entertainment juggernaut La Sala – the prime spot for a legion of Premiership footballers, celebrities and captains of industry – has reached its 15th birthday.

This week the Puerto Banus flagship restaurant celebrated its 50th anniversary with a big bash.

Since its opening in 2010, the hospitality giant is thriving. Everyone from England captain Harry Kane, TV chef Jamie Oliver, boxer Anthony Joshua and business tycoon Alan Sugar have celebrated nights out at this venue.

La Sala by the Sea is one of Marbella’s most popular restaurants. It also has the OAK Firehouse, La Sala itself and La Sala by the Sea.

But it’s also about entertaining the A-listers who are looking for top gastronomy. music, and atmosphere. La Sala launched an exclusive real estate company in 2024.

The celebrations began with a welcome from fire dancers, followed by a glass or cava.

The five-piece Wall St Band and live singer Zoe Louise provided more captivating performances.

Charlie Mullins is the richest plumber in Europe and a columnist for Olive Press.

He said, “It was a great evening. It’s one of those places that keeps on going.”

“We are here at least twice a week, if we don’t come more.”

La Sala group managing director Wayne Elliot, explained what the milestone meant to the team, as it cemented itself as the ‘iconic venue in the Marbella scene’.

He said, “Tonight we celebrate our colleagues, business associates and everyone at La Sala who works here.”

A spectacular food spread was also available, including La Sala’s signature dishes such as prawn-tempura and spring rolls.

Another crowd pleaser was the cheese table, which featured some of Spain’s finest cheeses.

The celebrations were an appropriate tribute to Marbella’s leading hospitality group.
