La Cala Lions spring fashion fair

La Cala Lions hosted their Spring Fair & Fashion Show at Butibamba Park, La Cala de Mijas. It was a gorgeous sunny Sunday. 

The event was held on Sunday 25th May. Visitors were invited to browse the stalls of the many artisans who were selling items you would not find in any shops. The Lions were there with their usual stalls, offering cava, toys, a raffle, and cakes. 

The Phoenix singers and vocalist Nikki, as well as the FAMA dance troupe for children, provided entertainment throughout the entire day. John Sharples presented 12 models in the fashion show, who displayed a wide range of evening wear and daywear from the Lions Charity Shop. Sandie Tavendale is the Lions’ social secretary. She would like to thank all the stallholders, entertainers, and volunteers as well as the Lions, Mijas Foreigner’s Department, and the Lions. The event raised over €3000.
