Police have arrested the man they were searching for after making an arrest.
Agents of Policia Nacional have arrested a Spanish man aged 40 on suspicion that he murdered US priest Richard Gross.
The 80-year old man was found dead after arriving in Malaga for a holiday.

It follows the arrest of a 27-year-old Moroccan in February as an accessory to murder after ‘keeping watch’ during the attack.
Despite the fact that homicide officers quickly identified the killer, they could not find him. A European Arrest Warrant was issued.
The man was thought to have left Spain but was discovered during a routine check by police in Sevilla, on Tuesday, 25th March.
Police have concluded that Gross was attacked by the men as he arrived at his apartment in Malaga’s Calle Viento.

After the priest’s death, the suspects stole all his possessions and fled.
Gross, a man supposedly loved by his locality, arrived in Malaga the same day as he was murdered, on 20 January.
He had planned to stay in the city for a week before taking a cruise on the Costa del Sol.
The American had gone on holiday from his parish in central Boston called Our Lady of Good Voyage.

He was known as a ‘friendly’ and ‘pleasant’ man who ‘had time for everyone’ and gave classes at local schools and universities.

Following his death, locals claimed they felt the increase in tourist lets made their neighbourhoods a ‘target’ to thieves, making them feel at risk.
