Two Irish tourists were playing golf on a Marbella course when their buggy plunged into a ravine.
One man was airlifted by helicopter to the Carlos Hayal Hospital at Malaga.
Diario Sur Reports indicate that the accident took place at Santa Clara Golf Club at approximately 4.30pm Sunday.

They called emergency services and were met by paramedics, firefighters, Marbella Policia Local, Policia Nacional, and other professionals.
The buggy carrying two men went over a barrier when they were nearing the end of their round, between the 17th & 18th holes.
Santa Clara Golf Club’s spokesperson said that Irish Examiner“One of them managed to jump out before the vehicle hit the second natural protection barrier, which was a row of pines. The other one was trapped inside the buggy that plunged down an embankment.”
Paramedics found both golfers, aged 29 and 46, unconscious.
A fire crew used ropes and a stretcher to lift the victims out of the ravine.
The 29 year old man was taken to Malaga by helicopter, with his friend being admitted at the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella.
The Santa Clara club described the condition of both men as ‘stable’.
A formal investigation by the police has been initiated.
