Paige Lefley, singer, yoga teacher, and fire breather (no, really), is about to present her spectacular tribute show to Lady Gaga at the Salón Varietes alongside Jai Northover as Ed Sheeran.
EWN: What made you want to perform?
Paige: As I worked at Olivia’s, a girl who I know does fire breathing asked me to assist her. I thought I’d never do it if I didn’t try. So, I went to a place in Velez-Málaga to learn. I told mum. She said, ‘No, you’re not, ‘so I said, ‘You’ll have to come and stop me.’ No one in my family sings. I gave it a try and enjoyed it.
EWN: What brought your to Spain?
Paige: My job in England was no longer interesting to me. I was doing great. I was doing well. When I visited Budapest with my friends, I realised that it was time to make a change.
EWN: You’re a yoga instructor?
Paige: Yes, I was in India for training earlier this year. Now I’m going on a vegan retreat to teach yoga classes in May.
Paige recently gave up drinking alcohol. Now she wants to apply what she learned from India to help other people quit drinking.
EWN: What can we expect from the upcoming show?
Paige: This time I’ll be performing alongside dancers. We’ve done a lot of hotel dates together. All week I have been Gaga! I’ll also be performing a few numbers with Jai.
EWN: What do you like to listen to when you’re not practicing?
Paige: Organica, Indian House and other recent releases. Sometimes I prefer silence. Yesterday, I enjoyed the silence when I arrived home.
Paige Lefley and Jai Northover are playing at the Salón Varietés in Fuengirola. On April 25 and 26 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available for €20, either from the website Or at the box-office.
