Immersed in Van Gogh

Estepona council has announced the arrival of Van Gogh ‘Grandes Éxitos’ (greatest hits), an immersive exhibition opened on June 5 at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos.

The exhibition runs until 21 September and invites visitors into the world of Vincent van Gogh. His life was marked by madness, suffering, and an unrelenting pursuit of beauty. Estepona locals will get a discount.

This one-off, exclusive exhibition for Estepona uses cutting-edge technologies like Digital Art 360. It features over 40 projectors, and multi-screen displays, to create a dynamic multisensory experience. The kinetic, 3D and morphing effects will make visitors feel like they are inside Van Gogh’s paintings. The venue’s walls are transformed into virtual canvases by projections up to 6 meters high and a specially curated soundtrack.

It also contains educational content that reveals over 1,000 references to Van Gogh’s works. This is in addition to insights into Van Gogh’s habits, fears and creative process. The show explores the way his art reflects his life of anguish and mysticism. It also presents a modern interpretation of his most valuable and iconic pieces.

Ramproart is a leading company in the event industry with over 20-years of experience. This exhibition has been a success in New York City, Paris, London and gained popularity through Netflix’s Emily in Paris. Tickets are available from van-gogh.esThe aim of the project is to offer Estepona an experience rich in colour, sound and emotion. The Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos is on Avenida Litoral, A-7, Km. 156, Estepona.
