Estepona’s Hubber welcomes blues and Latin rhythms this weekend

Hubber in Estepona will welcome blues and Latin rhythms at this weekend’s event

Hubber is the go-to place for live performances, culinary delights and Estepona’s vibrant music and arts scene. Two very different, but equally captivating music genres will be featured in back-to-back nights: blues and Latin.

The weekend kicks off tonight, Friday November 21, with an electrifying blues performance by Richard Ray Farrell, accompanied by Javier Martin on bass and Olmo Sánchez on drums. Farrell is a blues veteran who has built a career based on authenticity and passion. His journey from Niagara Falls took him to Europe where he developed a career that included collaborations with Raimundo Amador, and his work as a member of the band Street Talk. Farrell’s albums, such as Live in Germany (1996) and 3 Pints of Gin (1992), demonstrate his versatility, and commitment to the Blues. They have received critical acclaim, and in 2021 he was nominated for Acoustic Blues Album of the Years by The Blues Foundation.

Hubber’s intimate setting is the ideal place to spend an evening immersed with Farrell’s soulful guitar and heartfelt vocals. The show starts at 8pm and tickets are €15.

Habana Vieja is bringing a sizzling evening of Latin music tomorrow, on Saturday 22nd. As the band brings Cuban energy onto the stage, you can dance, sway or shake your maracas. Hubber will be filled with tropical beats from 8pm onwards. Tickets are also €15, payable in cash on the night.

Huber Art and Food, Estepona’s unique cultural venue offers drinks, food and music, all surrounded by modern art. Hubber’s weekend of music and passion is sure to be unforgettable for all, whether you are a lover of blues or Latin rhythms.
