Oliva City council brought in a veterinarian to save these animals, and they responded well to the medication.

It is still too early to determine if the damage will last.

The owner blamed the health problems of a relative who was close to him on his regenting of horses.

The record revealed that he was in violation of the animal welfare laws, registration and treatment.

Guardia Civil has not disclosed any details about these past transgressions

After a Gandia tribunal has heard the case of animal abuse, the owner will be responsible for the cost of the treatment.
