Homeless man blinded in Valencia park by brutal knuckle duster attack

A man living on the streets of Valencia has lost an eye due to a passerby who attacked him with a duster.

Police National have arrested and jailed a man of 31 years old.

Around 1am, on June 25, a brutal and unprovoked attack took place in the Calle Hospital de Valencia Park.

ARRESTED SUSPECT

One of the group punched the homeless man in the eye using a knuckle duster without saying a single word.

The group of males and females then left the area and drove away in a car parked at a public parking lot nearby.

The police arrived shortly after the attack and called for medical assistance.

The victim required emergency surgery, but due to the severity of the injuries he lost all vision in one eye.

Last Friday, police arrested the suspect after completing an investigation.

It was particularly revealing that a week after the attack the man’s fist still showed obvious signs of injury.

He was charged with assaulting and injuring.
