According to Spanish news reports, Hollywood’s star wanted to buy the property but couldn’t seal the deal.
Cavill wants to bring back the unique breed of cattle to his farm, located just outside London.
The cows are native to Galicia. They are one of the most purebred cattle in Spain.
Cavill’s visit will encourage local farmers to export Galician Blondes.
The English actor who is originally from Jersey has always been known for his love of farm animals.
He shared a photo on Instagram of him cooking steaks at home.
The weekend delicasse was also from northern Spain – specifically, he prepared Basque region sirloin steaks, which were dry brined overnight.
Cavill, after visiting the Galician farm in Lugo, dined at Campos, a restaurant located in Lugo’s Old Town.
Cavill was joined by his wife Natalie Viscuso and son, as well as close friends and businessmen Carlos Vazquez Marzan, Carmen Vites and some British pals.
The restaurant shared multiple photos of the actor posing with staff members and his guests, and he even left a strong message for Campos – and perhaps Galicia – accompanied by his signature.
