Residents from Marbella and the surrounding area gathered on Saturday September 27 at the Imperial Lounge Restaurant, La Reserva de Marbella, for a community-oriented fundraising event filled with country songs and spirit.
The event, featuring a performance by popular local entertainer Brian Piccolo, raised an incredible €1,600 for the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Group.
Mirela, the owner of Imperial Lounge Restaurant, donated a portion from every meal sold. Raffle prizes were provided by Helen Brady, Michelle Mellett’s Fabrica Boutique, Calahonda and Brian Piccolo. Raffle ticket sales and generous contributions, as well as a dedicated raffle ticket seller team, contributed to the impressive total. The atmosphere was fun and lively, and attendees enjoyed both the music as well as the opportunity to support a worthwhile cause. €10 of each €30 ticket was added to the total for the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Group (ADSG).
The fundraising event culminated in a heartfelt moment when organisers Helen Brady, Mirela, and Brian Piccolo presented a €1,600 cheque to Pat Jay, President of the ADSG. The funds raised will be used to support essential services for people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. The organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who donated, demonstrating Costa del Sol’s generosity and dedication to make a difference.
The evening was a great success. It was an evening filled with entertainment and philanthropy to benefit a worthy cause.
