Fuengirola hosts women entrepreneurs weekend fair

Fuengirola, which hosts the XV Feria de Mujeres Empresarias y Emprendedoras next week, will be shining a spotlight on the local talent. The event takes place in the Plaza de la Constitución from Thursday, May 16, to Saturday, May 18.

In its 15th anniversary, this fair celebrates the vibrant businesses of women in Fuengirola. More than 40 stands are set up to offer everything from handmade jewellery, beauty products, fashion, gourmet foods, and wellness services.

Organised in conjunction with the Town Hall’s Equalities Department, this event promotes local business and female entrepreneurship. The majority of women who participate are either self-employed, or have small businesses that started at home. The fair allows them to gain visibility and showcase their work.

On Thursdays and Fridays, the opening hours are 10:30am until 10pm and on Saturdays from 10:30am until 8pm. Free entry and entertainment are included in the programme.
