The Summer Jazz Torremolinos festival returns, bringing world-class jazz to the scenic Parque de la Batería with four free, open-air concerts.
Summer Jazz Torremolinos is a cultural event that has been a mainstay in Torremolinos ever since it was first held in 2022. It’s organized in collaboration between the Clarence Jazz Club and Torremolinos. It was created to make jazz more accessible for everyone, and now attracts music lovers from all over the province, as well as thousands of summer tourists, making it a summer must.
Sedajazz’s Jove Big Band will present a jazz and funk concert on the 21st of July. Francisco Blanco Latino leads a dynamic ensemble of 23 young musicians who captivate audiences with their remarkable talent, creativity and infectious energy. Their repertoire is a mix of jazz standards and innovative arrangements from soundtracks to funk, Latin jazz and rock. The band has graced major stages, including the Valencia Jazz Festival, Barcelona’s Jazzing Festival, Cádiz Jazz Festival, and Girona’s Porta Ferrada Festival, and has collaborated with renowned artists such as Joe Magnarelli, Perico Sambeat, Chris Cheek, Rex Richardson, Sole Jiménez, Andrea Motis, Rita Payés, and Pedro Iturralde.
All concerts will begin at 9.30pm and admission is free. Enjoy a summer filled with live jazz in Torremolinos.
