In an interview with TV, one of Cristiano Ronaldo’s former bodyguards discussed his daily income while protecting the Portuguese soccer superstar.

The Daily Mail reported that Ronaldo was “not only one of the biggest football stars but one of most famous people in the world,” implying a bodyguard is a must to prevent any incidents against him and his family.

Ronaldo was born in Funchal, Portugal on February 5, 1985. He has won the Best FIFA Player award three times. The Ballon d’Or Award five times. Ronaldo’s net worth exceeds $1 billion. He has won at least 30 titles for his team. The Mail reports that Ronaldo, who has had to be protected throughout his career because of his fame, “has always required security.” wrote.

Bukhari spent 5 years protecting Ronaldo

Hichman Bukhari, a PMC contractor from Morocco and Close Protection Operative, has over 127,000 Instagram fans.

Bukhari worked for four years to ensure the safety of Ronaldo, his family and friends while he was in Madrid.

Hichman was recently interviewed by Telecinco in Spain. He told them Ronaldo paid him £850 a day (approximately 1,008 euros) for his services.

Bukhari characterized the five-time Ballon d’Or recipient as a relatively safe client, who only faced serious threats to his life from fans overzealous and possible thieves.

No one threatened him or wanted to rob his wallet

The bodyguard also said that the ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid player was not a client with a high level of risk to his life.

“Our work depends upon the client’s profiles. Bukhari explained that in the case of Cristiano with whom he worked for four-years, his profile was not high-risk, because no one wanted to kill him and he did not receive death threats. “He was a victim of robbers or fans who threatened him.”

He said that we must be constantly aware of the possibility that our lives are at risk. We must be willing to defend a person and, sometimes, we may have to sacrifice our own lives in order to do so.

Bukhari added, “We must always know where we will be going and who will be there. We also need to have clear exit and entry points as well contact points.”

‘Our lives could be at risk’

We must be constantly aware that we could lose our lives. We must be willing and able to sacrifice our lives in order to protect someone.

“I’ll use my weapons if necessary,” said the bodyguard.”It is important to be able to solve problems quickly and stay calm during difficult situations.”

Hichman described Ronaldo as “the greatest boss I have ever had.” ‘We have a good relationship.”

He concluded by saying “Working with him was not the same as working with someone threatened to death or kidnapping.” “We had some silly encounters with paparazzi and crazy fans but nothing major.”
