Alicante is the province with the highest overseas share, just below 43%.
The Association of Registrars reported 178,270 sales in the United States, an increase of 3.31% on a year-over-year basis. Foreign sales accounted for 13.52% of total.
The UK still leads the overseas market despite a decline of 10.74% annually, followed by buyers in the Netherlands, France, and Germany.

Significant falls were recorded for buyers from Poland and Russia.
Alicante dominated the overseas property sales in 2025, with non-Spaniards accounting for 42,91%, which is significantly higher than the national average.
British, Germans and Dutch buyers dominate the Alicante province’s market. This is especially true in the southern Costa Blanca areas such as Torrevieja or Orihuela Costa.
In places like Altea Javea Calpe Benissa and Benissa there were a lot of buyers from Northern and Central Europe.
Malaga province reported 2,831 overseas purchases.
In October to December, last year, over 35% (or more) of non-Spanish sales were made in the two provinces.
Barcelona has reported a growth in sales of 2.1% year-onyear, and an improvement in the number of foreign buyers.
Madrid, on the other hand, saw its total transaction fall by 8.48% with a relatively small international share (6.43%).
