Three ultra-fast charging stations have been installed at the Central Market parking lot for EV drivers to enjoy.
Infrastructure allows drivers to charge up their vehicles within 15 to 20 mins, boosting sustainable mobility.
The new fast chargers can service two vehicles at once with up to 360kW power. They are available 24/7 via the Telpark App. This upgrade allows EV drivers to recharge their vehicles almost as fast as they can refuel at traditional petrol stations. Electric cars are now a practical option for Marbella’s daily life. Visitors can also benefit from the technology, as it provides a high-speed, reliable charging option for electric vehicles travelling to Marbella.
The charging stations are not only convenient, but they also support Marbella’s commitment to reduce pollution and help residents reduce their carbon foot print. It is hoped that by strategically placing the charging stations at the Central Market Car Park in Old Town, more people will take advantage and shop locally.
