Estepona’s first Charity Paella Competition will be held on Sunday 8th June at El Calvario Park. This event is a celebration of culinary tradition, community spirit and the Vera+Cruz Brotherhood.

Participants must bring their own ingredients and cooking equipment, with the exception of rice, vegetables, oil and other items that will be provided by organizers. The schedule of the event includes paella presentation to the jury at 2:30pm and 3:00pm. Awards will be announced at 5:00pm. Prizes include €1,000 for first place, €500 for second, €250 for third, and €100 for each of the remaining participants.

This event is a great opportunity for expats who live on the Costa del Sol to meet the locals, support a good cause, and enjoy the traditional Spanish food. Estepona Charity Paella Competition, whether you are a culinary fanatic or just want to experience the local culture, is an event that should not be overlooked.

Visit the Estepona Municipal Council’s Electronic headquarters to register or find out more. You can also download the contest rules and registration form from the Notice Board.
