AN ‘ENGLISH-SPEAKING’ woman has told police that was the victim of sexual assault involving three men in Valencia.
The 21-year-old ‘non-Spaniard’ was discovered unconscious and semi-naked at 2am on Monday in a park close to the University of Valencia campus.
Many students frequent the area, whether they rent nearby flats or travel from afar to drink at local pubs or in parks.

The victim was found in an undressed state, lying on a path.
Two security guards were on patrol at the campus. One of them covered her with a jacket.
The young victim began to regain consciousness as two Policia Nacional patrols arrived. An ambulance crew also arrived.
She said in English that three men had sexually abused her.
The woman appeared to be disoriented and exhibited symptoms of alcohol or drug abuse.
The police launched a sexual assault protocol on suspicion that the woman may have received a chemical substance.
In Valencia, a full medical examination was to be performed.
The investigation was taken over by the Family and Women’s Care Unit at the Policia Nacional.
