Elrow Town festival returns to Marbella

On Saturday, August 23, 2025, the San Pedro Alcantara Fairgrounds will be transformed into an ephemeral metropolis of electronic music and brightly coloured spectacle as elrow Town Marbella 2025 unveils its most ambitious year yet.

The much-awaited summer festival, the only one of its kind in southern Spain, will host over 30,000 attendees for a 12-hour extravaganza featuring more than 40 international DJs and artists, including techno titans Boris Brejcha, Fatima Hajji, Adam Beyer, Loco Dice, Luciano, and Reinier Zonneveld.

The festival will be an unparalleled experience with six themed stages, each boasting its own visual narrative, complemented by hundreds of performers, special effects, and avant-garde stage design. Boris Brejcha, master of minimal high-tech techno, will bring a hypnotic soundscape, while Fatima Hajji brings the raw energy of Spanish techno. Groove legends Loco Dice and Luciano will captivate with their rhythmic prowess, and Reinier Zonneveld’s immersive live performance will offer a visual and emotional journey.

Elrow Town festival – easier access, but traffic chaos

In response to feedback from the 2024 event, elrow Town Marbella has introduced significant upgrades to improve the attendee experience. Over 50 entry lanes will streamline people’s access, reducing wait times, while a 50 per cent increase in toilets and new cashless charging stations will improve convenience and comfort. There will be new shaded areas, chill-out zones, and expanded food and drink, with additional bar and cloakroom staff to better the experience for everyone.

However, there are some continuing concerns about accessibility. Marbella Council has ruled out providing shuttle buses for the event, due to logistical challenges, despite the expected 30,000 attendees at the 80,000-square-metre La Caridad estate. Council spokesperson Félix Romero acknowledged the venue’s suitability for large-scale events but said challenges with the surrounding road network, especially the A-7, continue. This follows criticism after the recent Manuel Carrasco concert at the same venue, where traffic gridlock delayed thousands, leading to the singer publicly apologising for the “complicated access”.

Tickets are available from enterticket.es starting at €40.
