Eight Injured In Fuengirola Boat Blast.  An explosion on a small vessel in Fuengirola’s port has injured eight passengers.

Eight Injured In Fuengirola Boat Blast

A small boat that exploded this afternoon in Fuengirola’s port injured eight people. The boat was leaving a marina when it suddenly caught fire.  Witnesses described hearing the explosion and seeing smoke rise.  Emergency services arrived on the scene quickly to treat the eight passengers.

Firefighters extinguish the fire aboard the small vessel.

The 7-metre pleasure boat just left pontoon 3. The explosion occurred before the vessel reached the mouth.  It is still unknown what caused the explosion.
