Easter Parade and Easter bonnet contest will take place on Easter Sunday, April 20th, 1pm at the Cala de Mijas Lions Diabetic Support.
In 1870, at the end the Civil War, New York City held the most famous Easter Parade. Nowadays this Easter Parade is still being celebrated around the world, and not to be outdone, the La Cala Lions Diabetic Support Group regularly holds such an event yearly here in La Cala de Mijas.
Bar Tuta will be open at 1pm on Sunday 20th April for Easter. Bring your Easter bonnets and caps (optional), enjoy the finger buffet, a welcome cocktail and hot cross buns. The event will include one of Graham’s famous quizzes, and a raffle.
Super Sandie, our compere will lead you merrily on your way through to the parade and competition for different categories… the prettiest, most original men’s hat – and kiddies are included too.
All this for just €15 in aid of the Diabetic Support Group, who tirelessly work to help promote diabetic awareness. Please phone Anne on 607 879 450 for reservations, or tickets are available in Lions Charity Shop and at Bar Tuta and Snack Attack. Join in on the fun, and support a good cause. Bar Tuta is in urbanización Jardín Botánico, 29/30 Calle Pensamientos, La Cala de Mijas.
