Drugs gang copied ‘Breaking Bad’ narco TV drama by laundering money via a car wash business in Spain – CSN News


The hit US TV show “The Wire” was the inspiration for a BULGARIAN drug gang Breaking Bad You can wash the profits from a marijuana business through a car wash.

The Policia Nacional arrested seven men following three raids conducted in Valencia Province.

The officers also went to Elche, in the province of Alicante, where they demolished a marijuana plantation run by a crew. However, the amount of drugs found was not disclosed.

The raids on February 17 also saw the seizure of €7,000, 33,000 UK pounds sterling, and five vehicles.

Four of the four detainees were convicted for crimes similar to those committed.

The investigation began in November on a group Bulgarians who were involved in the large-scale cultivation and export of marijuana.

The gang bosses are said to have a very high standard of life and own a car wash located in a Valencian town that is not named.

Walter White, the protagonist of the US TV series “Walter White”, used the business in a similar way. Breaking Bad To launder all of the money they earned from their drug sales.

The police monitored the premises, and found that one of the men working there occasionally had been previously convicted for drug dealing.

They noticed that he had been absent a lot, as he spent money on marijuana supplies.

The cartel suffered a major setback in December when an interception in Castellon of a lorry containing 130 kilos in vacuum-sealed plastic bags in eight boxes dealt a severe blow to the group.

It was the only consignment being carried by the truck, barring €1,000 in cash.
