Investigations are underway against a DEVIOUS landlord who hired a man in Gandia, province of Valencia, to evict a couple aged over 60 from her apartment.
Police arrested a 33 year old man who pretended he was a plumber, and assaulted a resident.
He has been charged with violent theft, coercion and illegal weapon possession.

He claimed he was checking on water leaks.
After entering the apartment, he pointed his gun at the woman and demanded she and her partner leave.
The attacker continued to make threats as she fell down.
A neighbor called the police and said a man was shooting someone with a gun.
Officers caught the intruder as he was fleeing, with the keys of the apartment as well as the stolen mobile phone.
The detainee – who had a criminal background – was found carrying a plastic Policia Nacional and a Security Guard ID, along with gear to forcefully open door and a pistol with two bullets.
The investigation revealed that she was also investigated.
