Danny Vaughn, a local rocker, and his band Tyketto have released a new song and signed a record deal.

Hard rock veterans bring back new music

Tyketto’s new single, “Higher Than High”, is the lead track to their long-awaited studio album, Closer to The Sun. It will be released on March 20, 2026.

Vaughn was born in New York and now lives on the Costa del Sol. The singer is also the frontman of an international rock group formed in America but with members scattered throughout Europe.

Silver Lining Music announces new partnership

Tyketto has also announced that they have signed a record deal with Silver Lining Music. This British label is known for its representation of established rock acts. The band claims that the partnership is based on mutual respect. According to Vaughn of Silver Lining Music, the label has recognized their musical direction and commitment to the audience.

Thomas Jensen is the owner of Silver Lining. He praised Tyketto’s songwriting, live energy and said that Silver Lining was proud to support this band, which he feels deserves “wider attention”.

Fans welcome new single in anticipation of 2026 album

Tyketto’s global fan base, which was built in the late 80s when they released their debut single Don’t Come Easy has reacted to the release of the new song on social media. One person commented: “We are enchanted with the first note!” The new single is in Tyketto’s signature style!

Just three days after it was released, their first song in eight years “Higher Than High”, has already received tens thousands of YouTube views. The band has been welcomed back by fans around the world. This includes India, Belgium and the USA.
